Planning by Nonprofits

This section contains material and links to resources on strategic and business planning that are relevant to nonprofits. There is also a description of the NCNE/Center for Nonprofit Excellence Nonprofit Business Planning project that has helped generate or identify the materials here.
Nonprofit Planning Resources
Here are four resources that have arisen from the NCNE/CNE Business Planning Project and the transcript of a great session on planning presented at the NCNE national conference in September 2007, featuring Jeanne Bell, CEO of CompassPoint, Joan Hoge, ED of the Historical Society of Delaware and Kevin Kearns, Professor of Public and Nonprofit Management at GSPIA at the University of Pittsburgh.
The NCNE and Center for Nonprofit Excellence Business Planning Project

The W.K. Kellogg Foundation have funded the Center for Nonprofit Excellence in Akron, Ohio (CNE) to develop new protocols for nonprofit business planning. NCNE have been asked to undertake this work on CNE's behalf.  NCNE has supplemented this work with a grant from the Carnegie Corporation.
