NCNE delivers the Foundation Center's one day introduction to earned income with a particular focus on assessing whether your nonprofit is ready to tackle this important form of revenue generation. Participants learn about the characteristics of successful activities that generate revenue, how to assess the potential impact of a social enterprise on their nonprofits’ current programs, management and staff, how to link earned income to mission, how to identify and evaluate earned income options, how to conduct an organizational audit, and how to undertake feasibility studies and write business plans. Registration includes copies of Effective Economic Decision-Making by Nonprofit Organizations (228 pages, a $34.95 value) and The Nonprofit Entrepreneur (170 pages, a $19.95 value) a workbook outlining all major course topics and templates for worksheets used in the course.
