NCNE delivers the Foundation Center's one day introduction to earned income with a particular focus on assessing whether your nonprofit is ready to tackle this important form of revenue generation. The title of the workshop is “Earned Income: Assessing your Revenue Options.” Participants learn about the characteristics of successful activities that generate revenue, how to assess the potential impact of a social enterprise on their nonprofits’ current programs, management and staff, how to link earned income to mission, how to identify and evaluate earned income options, how to conduct an organizational audit, and how to undertake feasibility studies and write business plans.
